JOSH PRUITT

Josh is a practicing Physician Assistant specializing in metabolic health, with a passion for motivating patients to adopt lasting lifestyle improvements.

Shortly after becoming a PA, Josh joined Pace Fitness, where he personally experienced the powerful transformation CrossFit can bring—both mentally and physically. This not only deepened his commitment to his own health but also inspired him to help others experience the same breakthrough.

Driven to expand his impact, Josh earned his CrossFit Level 2 Trainer Certificate and has since taken on the role of head coach and operations manager at Pace Fitness when not working in the clinic.

Building on his dual expertise in medicine and fitness, Josh founded Pace Health to meet a growing need: bringing true health care—not just great workouts—to the Pace community and beyond. Pace Health represents the next evolution of Pace’s mission, offering health education and personalized medical care designed to help athletes thrive both inside and outside the gym.

MARGIE MCCUNE

Margie’s athletic foundation began on the softball field and continued at the collegiate level at California State University, Bakersfield, where her team earned back-to-back Division II championships in 1988 and 1989. These formative experiences instilled in her a lifelong appreciation for discipline, teamwork, and the pursuit of excellence.

In 2001, a severe injury to her tibia, fibula, and ankle became a pivotal moment that reshaped her understanding of movement, recovery, and resilience. The long path back from that injury deepened her respect for the body’s capacity to heal and adapt when supported by intentional training.

In 2024, Margie discovered CrossFit, an experience that reignited her confidence and restored her strength, mobility, and belief in her physical potential. Now serving as a Coach Intern, she is committed to helping others build confidence through movement, overcome perceived limitations, and recognize that they are capable of far more than they imagine.

chris brewer

Chris is passionate about helping people build strength, health, and confidence for life.

Growing up, he experienced firsthand what happens when physical and mental health are neglected. That experience shaped his belief that real health isn’t optional—it’s foundational.

When Chris became a father, everything shifted. He made a commitment to become the mentor he didn’t have—both for his kids and for the people he coaches. Today, he brings that same level of care and accountability to everyone he works with, helping them take ownership of their health and reach their potential.

Chris trains across CrossFit, gymnastics, Olympic lifting, and running, and is always working to learn new skills. His goal is simple: be ready for anything life throws at him—and stay strong, capable, and present for his five kids for years to come.
