Non-participating athletes can cheer on our racers at the start line located at William B Pond Recreational Area before 8:00am. Afterwards we will be doing a workout around 8:30am as we wait for our racers to complete the course. There will be no Saturday WOD at the gym.

Get your paddles ready for the 6th annual Great American Triathlon, the Sacramento region’s premier summertime outdoor sporting event set on the stunning American River Parkway.

The Great American Triathlon is a challenging athletic competition that is as unique as it is fun. Following the historic route of Eppie’s Great Race, The Great American Triathlon includes a 5.95-mile run, a 12.5-mile bike and a 6.10-mile paddle, with categories for competitors of all types, from world-class athletes to families seeking to create a new family tradition.
